So, who is this guy?

The fact that we don't know who this guy is indicates that we are failing somewhere as a Luddite community.

You know, I thought I had posted a comment about this, but I think I did that in Flickr instead!

Done any public typing yourself lately? I've been cowardly about it myself.

No, not so much. Unless you count a few pecks in my work cube while I was trying to clean the thing up. I could hear coworkers a few cubes down saying "There it is again. Do hear that little *ding*? What is that?" (I was moving the carriage back and forth trying to figure out why the margins were gimpy...)

The closest I've come to using one in public is admitting to co-workers that I own and use typewriters. Baby steps here.

Maybe it's Traveling Type. He's been silent of late and is also an enigma.

I always pictured Traveling Type as looking a little more rugged. This guy looks a little more fashion-y.

This is true. I'd imagine one not holding a coffee but peering at the page closely as one types. The coffee would soon be cold. We would know this person and they would know us. This shot is to glamorous to be an actual action shot. We need action shots!

You know, come to think of it, Sunglasses! Hmm, maybe there is the key to public typing. If people can't look you in the eye and give you "the look" it might be easier on the mind. Personally I do a lot of cycling. If I don't have my sunglasses I become uneasy and tend to think the drivers and passengers are all looking with with different opinions. Some good, some, not so good.
